Hello again!
I’m am gearing up for 3 days of FyreCon 4! Officially it kicks off tonight at 7 pm local time and I am stoked. FyreCon 4 is a local writing convention that has gone digital this year. It is full of classes for writing improvement, advice on publishing, and some stuff about the business side of writing (I have talked about it before here). I have all my sessions picked out after having to make some difficult choices. Some of the time slots had more than one session that I was really interested in, so I had to go with the ones that would help me to most at the stage I’m at right now (e.g. writing craft improvement, building a routine, etc.).
I am also going to take this long weekend to start a 30-day challenge. I have not decided what yet, but I have narrowed it down to some possible keystone habits that I want to work into my schedule. It’s a good time. My daily routine will already be in an uproar because of the convention and not being at work, so why not intentionally muck it up a little more while I’m at it? My contenders are: 1) early wake up, 2) daily meditation (I did this once before and really liked it, but it didn’t stick), or 3) daily stretching.
Wish me luck.
